Snow Fun

The kids and I went for a nice walk to the Grocery Store after Wyatt woke up from his nap this afternoon. Maya fell asleep right away for her nap and slept the whole time we were out. The walk to the store takes about 20 - 25 minutes with the stroller in the snow, we were at the plaza for 15 or 20 min, then walked home again, so she had a pretty good nap.
She was still asleep when we got home, so I let Wyatt play out in the snow till she woke up. He had fun, but was mad that he couldn’t find his little shovel (it’s buried in the snow somewhere!) He used the neighbors shovel for a while, but would get mad cause he had a hard time getting the handle up off the ground with his mitts on. Darn Mitts!
Maya woke up after about 15 minutes but stayed in the stroller for a while watching her brother. She thought he was just hilarious and would break out in hysterical laughter at the slightest thing he did. He thought that was cool!
It was a beautiful afternoon. It made me anxious for spring. The snow is really starting to melt it was so nice out, so the whole walk smelled like dirt and dog poo, and everyone knows that’s what spring smells like!
