Fitness Journey
*** UPDATE *** (July 2008)
So, I haven ‘t been very good at posting fitness updates, have I? I have been working out though. My neighbor and I were going to the gym 2 -3 times a week for a while and the kids and I have been walking like crazy this summer.
So I’m happy to announce that I have now reached my 20 lbs weight loss goal!!!!!
My new goal is to continue being active and lose another 10 lbs this summer / fall.

My Goals
My overall fitness goal is to have more energy and feel healthier. I plan to achieve this goal through good nutrition and exercise. I want to eat a better balanced diet and lose some weight. My weight loss goal is 20lbs. My Baby Weight. Having only gained 10lbs with each pregnancy is something I am quite happy about. But alas, I’m ready to shed those extra pounds.
Exercise
This is my weekly
plancommitment.Cardio (Go to the gym with the kids as often as possible)
- Jogging on the treadmill
- Group fitness classes
Strength Training
- Weight workout at the gym three times a week.
Nutrition
I’m going to be posting my family’s meal plan every week, along with updates on how well we stuck with our plans. See my Nutrition page to get more info on our family’s nutrition ideas.
I plan to post quick fitness updates every week to help keep myself motivated. I think having to blog about how my week went will help me stay on track. You can see my fitness blogs here.
